The Weather Outside...

Let's stick our foot in the shower, shall we?  Let all pretenses, suppostions and assumptions flow down the drain like so much toe-lint.  Now do the exact same thing with the other foot; just for argument's sake...

Now let's take a left-turn into a place I'd like to call Reality - why in the seven-hells would someone stick around with a mate who has a serious anger-management problem? Why would a young-adult sit stagnating for MONTHS, locked away in one room gaming, texting and "tweeting"; away from that whole, moving-on-with-my-life thing?  Why do birds shit while flying, for criminy's sake??  BECAUSE OF SHEER LAZINESS!!!  Call it addiction to instant-gratification; call it passivity; call it "instinct" or whatever you like - it's just plain lazy.

Too many of us just "stick with it" just because it's someone or something to which we are accustomed.  Why move on with my life when I'm comfortable and supported for next-to-nothing? Why rock the boat when we can just cruise along in relative safety and comfort; so what if the yacht has a slow leak?  We'll eventually get someplace where one and all can disembark and climb onto the next ("free") ride!

Traveling in the Inclement

Haven't we all wondered where and HOW to draw a line when one clearly needs to be drawn? Is it better to "work it out" when the same arguments, the same drama, the same-as-always anger-and-insult parties keep brewing? Well, I will be declining the next invitation to such a "party" as I NEVER get any swag!

So, relationships are not a Club-Med vacation; duh! That doesn't always mean we have to throw in the towel and walk away. How does one find a solution to dual twister-tempers that flare in sync with each other? Sort of like trying to divert 2 head-on collisions at the same time -
- SOMEBODY is bound to get wrecked!
Better get out your snowshoes and make sure airbags are in operational condition...

Intro to Weather Anomalies

Frozen branches sprawling skywards
Betwixt the high-pressure systems
Dizzying up the winds
Of time, of change
Swirling in sounds of weather strange

Binoculars to see a break in clouds
Which is only the calm before the swarm
Take hold and shove it back
Is it applause?
Maybe a thunderclap?

In the fog fanning out from home
With sun stretching calmly across the skies
Melting ice on top of the snow
Uncovering truth beneath lies
Looking up & feeling light of day; a need to roam
